Permissions associated with each user role
The following user roles are available in Workflow Manager for MPO's. Each role has specific permissions assigned, which allows you to give logins to staff and stakeholders with a level of access that is appropriate for their position.
Project Roles
Admin
Admin users can view and edit all content. They can create, submit, and edit projects for all agencies. Admin users also have full permissions for organization settings and other admin controls.
Agency Submitter
Submitters are able to create and submit applications/projects for their agency only. They can edit all project details except scoring and funding.
Agency Editor
Same permissions as agency submitter, but they are not allowed to submit project applications, they can only create draft projects.
Agency Viewer
Agency viewers can view basic study data, they do not have any editing privileges.
Agency Scorer
Same permissions as Agency Submitter, except they are also allowed to score projects. This is usually a short-term use role that is only assigned during evaluation processes.
No Edit Admin
This role is intended for those in senior positions that need access to all data, but do not need or want the ability to edit data. They can view all data but do not have any edit privileges.
Studies Roles
Admin
Admin users can view and edit all content. They can create, submit, and edit studies for all agencies.
MPO Project Manager
MPO Project Managers can edit studies and all related data, but they cannot create new studies or delete studies.
Agency Lead
Agency Lead users can only edit studies for their agency. They cannot edit management information about the study.
View Only
View only users can view basic study data, they do not have any editing privileges.
