Using the main navigation menu, open the Pursuits or Projects page. At the top there will be a blue button that says “Add Pursuit” or “Add Project” depending on which page you are on. Click this button to open the create window. If you do not see this button you do not have the appropriate permissions to create projects, please contact your system administrator.

In the create window the stage is already selected based on which page you were on when you clicked the blue button from. You can however switch to the other stage if needed. The status options shown in the drop-down will be based on the selected stage. For more information about stages and statuses click here.
You are required to select a status, group, and project title. You may also select a project manager and add map features. Instructions for adding map features can be found here.

When finished, click one of the save buttons. “SAVE” will save the project and return you to the pursuits or projects page. “SAVE AND OPEN” will save the project and open the detail page for further editing. The newly created project or pursuit will now be listed and accessible on the corresponding pursuits or projects page.
