Menu Structure
The navigation menu uses a tiered structure to keep your data and workflows organized. Depending on permissions and organization you may see several content groups.
- Projects: Contains your lists of active pursuits and in progress projects, as well as the Schedule Sync page.
- Clients: Includes the Client List with project history.
- TIP, MTP, or Studies: Contains projects and workflows related to MPO TIP plans, long range plans, and studies
- Reports: Contains all reports including the Activity report, Hours, and others.
- Finances: All financial details including your personal timesheet and expenses plus company-level time and expense pages.
- Admin: All admin settings
- Search:The Search page (formerly “Everything” or “Intelisearch”) provides a list of all projects optimized for quick searching and review.
The menu will expand when you click on it and can be closed or docked using the arrow button.
Menu Hierarchy
Some menu content groups have a structured hierarchy, others do not. For those with a structured hierarchy the second level items exist only to help organize the information; they are not clickable. In the Finances example below, clicking Finances opens the hierarchy. Then, a user can select any of the bottom-level pages for viewing.
Other content groups have only a single page, such as the Search page. This content group does not have the expandable hierarchy and instead navigates immediately to the page after clicking. The expansion arrow will not be shown for these pages.
Accessing Help
Support, knowledge center, release notes, and legal notices can be accessed via the Infotech footer or the Help icon in the header.
User Menu
You can access the user menu from the menu bar. The user menu includes three functions:
- Switch Orgs: lets you search and switch between different organizations. This is only available to users that have access rights to more than one organization.
- My Account: provides account-level settings such as default filters and page view options.
- Log Out: logs you out of the system.
DOT Navigation
The DOT applications use a modified version of the navigation menu with two separate menus, both accessed from the page header:
- Click
Page menu to access different pages within your program
- Click
Organization menu to switch to a different program/organization
